Pradhan Industries is a reputed company in natural graphite mining and beneficiation, operating in Odisha for over 40 years. We supply various grades of graphite to steel plants, foundries, lubricants, battery, and chemical industries across India.
As part of our expansion and quality upgradation, we are strengthening our Quality Control, Quality Assurance, & Quality Management. We are hiring experienced and committed Chemists and Laboratory Assistants to work at different plant locations and labs.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct regular **quality checks** of raw ore, intermediate, and final products.
- Test for **Fixed Carbon (FC%), Volatile Matter, Ash Content, Moisture**, and other physical-chemical properties.
- Operate and maintain lab instruments like:
- **Muffle Furnace**:
- **Weighing Balance**:
- **Moisture Analyzer**:
- **Vacuum Filter Unit**:
- **Laboratory Dryer**:
- Prepare and maintain **accurate lab records**, worksheets, and quality logs.
- Ensure **sampling protocols and lab safety standards** are followed strictly.
- Help in **research and process improvement** to increase yield and recovery.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to provide real-time quality feedback.
**Eligibility Criteria**:
- **Educational Qualification**: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years (Preferably in a mineral or chemical industry lab).
- Knowledge of ISO / NABL standards will be an added advantage.
- Must have **analytical mindset, attention to detail**, and **strong documentation skills**.
