Job Description:
As a Wood Purchase Executive, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the procurement and sourcing of wood products for the organization. You will be responsible for identifying potential wood suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of wood materials while adhering to quality standards and cost targets. Your role will involve collaboration with various internal departments such as production, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth operations.

**Responsibilities**:
Supplier Identification and Evaluation:Identify potential wood suppliers based on the organization's requirements and quality standards.
Evaluate suppliers based on factors such as reliability, quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
Establish and maintain a database of approved wood suppliers.

Contract Negotiation:Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other contractual terms with suppliers.
Ensure that contracts are favorable and align with the organization's procurement policies and guidelines.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to review and finalize contracts.

Procurement and Order Management:Place purchase orders for wood products based on production requirements and inventory levels.
Monitor order status and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, such as quality or quantity discrepancies.

Quality Control:Develop and implement quality standards for purchased wood products.
Conduct periodic quality inspections of delivered wood materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
Collaborate with suppliers to address any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.

Market Research and Cost Optimization:Stay updated on market trends, prices, and availability of wood products.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization through strategic sourcing, alternative materials, or supplier negotiations.
Analyze and report on key procurement metrics, such as cost savings and supplier performance.

Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with wood suppliers.
Regularly communicate with suppliers to address concerns, provide feedback, and resolve any issues.
Collaborate with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives, such as process optimization or sustainability efforts.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹30,000.78 - ₹40,000.33 per month
