Steward

**Job Summary**:
The **Steward** is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas. This includes washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment and surfaces, and ensuring a sanitary environment to support the culinary and service teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and storage rooms.
- Assist with basic food prep or delivery of ingredients when needed.
- Dispose of garbage properly and maintain waste management protocols.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in food handling and sanitation.
- Restock clean dishes, utensils, and other supplies as needed.
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a steward or kitchen helper role (preferred but not required).
- Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long hours and lift moderately heavy items.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take direction.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Desirable Traits**:

- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen or hospitality team.
- Punctual and reliable.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
