Interior Site Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
The Site Supervisor for our Interior Design Firm will oversee the day-to-day operations of interior design projects at the construction or renovation site. This role ensures that all project activities are executed according to the design specifications, within budget, and on schedule. The Site Supervisor will coordinate with contractors, vendors, and the design team to ensure quality control, adherence to safety standards, and smooth project execution from start to finish.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Site Management**:

- Oversee daily operations at the project site, ensuring that work progresses according to schedule and meets design specifications.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, craftsmen, and construction teams to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor site progress, ensuring compliance with project timelines, safety regulations, and budgetary guidelines.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure the quality and accuracy of materials, finishes, and craftsmanship at all stages of the project.
- Perform regular site inspections to verify that the interior work aligns with the approved designs and drawings.
- Report and resolve any discrepancies between the design plans and actual construction work.
- **Coordination and Communication**:

- Act as the primary point of contact between the interior design team, contractors, and clients during the project.
- Communicate any changes or issues that may arise, ensuring that the design team is kept informed and decisions are made promptly.
- Schedule and attend project meetings with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure smooth coordination.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce all site safety protocols and ensure that the team follows local building codes and regulations.
- Conduct regular site safety audits and take corrective action if safety standards are not met.
- Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are in place before work begins.
- **Material and Equipment Management**:

- Ensure the proper delivery, storage, and handling of materials and finishes.
- Track material inventory and coordinate with suppliers to avoid delays in project execution.
- Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition and used appropriately on-site.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain daily logs of site activities, including progress, delays, challenges, and any changes to scope or schedule.
- Prepare reports for project managers, designers, and clients on the status of the project.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation, such as permits, change orders, and site drawings, is up-to-date and readily accessible.
- **Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution**:

- Identify and address any issues that may cause delays or affect the quality of the project.
- Proactively resolve conflicts on-site between contractors, workers, or clients to maintain project momentum.
- **Client Liaison**:

- Provide clients with regular updates on project progress and address any concerns or requests.
- Ensure client satisfaction by ensuring the design vision is executed according to their expectations.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications or experience in site supervision or project management within the interior design or construction industry.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in site supervision, construction, or project management, preferably in interior design or residential/commercial renovation.
- Strong understanding of interior design concepts, construction practices, and building materials.
- Experience working with design teams, contractors, and clients to manage project timelines and quality standards.
- **Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, designers, contractors, and vendors.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Procore, etc.) is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working on high-end residential or commercial interior design projects.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
- Familiarity with CAD software or other design tools.
- Knowledge in Cutting list is must.

**Work Environment**:

- Full-time position with travel to and from project sites required.
- Some evening or weekend work may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
- On-site presence is critical for project success and coordination.
