**Content Writer**

Location: In Office Reporting to: Communications Position Type: Full-Time

About Us:
Ashray Akruti is a registered nonprofit, non-religious, non-government organization working for people with disability with a focus on children with hearing loss. Established in Hyderabad in the year 1996, the organization implements projects across health, education and skill development to improve the lives of people with Disability or ‘Divyangjan’, as named by the Government of India.

Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Write clear, engaging, and original content for websites, blogs, newsletters, reports, proposals, and social media
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and consistency
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and develop content strategies
- Develop scripts for videos, interviews, and events if needed
- Ensure content aligns with brand tone and organizational messaging
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO guidelines in content
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of all materials

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
- 2-3 years of proven experience in content writing or copywriting
- Strong command of English and excellent writing/editing skills
- Familiarity with SEO and web traffic metrics
- Ability to adapt tone and writing style for different audiences
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and social media tools is a plus
