- JOB DESCRIPTION (JD)- Job Title- JD No.- Designation- AVP - Actuarial- Reporting Relationship- Grade- Function / Department- Actuarial- Direct Reports- 6- Branch / Location- HO- Purpose of Role- 1. Managing prophet modelling team
- 2. Managing Business Planning team
- 3. Evaluation of Business Deals
- 4. Managing entire reinsurance delivery- Description of Role- Reinsurance:
- 1. Computation of reinsurance monthly premium
- 2. Preparing of quarterly and annual forms for IRDAI
- 3. Managing receipts and payments with reinsurers
- 4. Providing timely information to management
- 5. Managing audit of numbers- Business Planning & Business Deals:
- 1. Business Plan projections and related metrics
- 2. Performing stress/sensitivity testing on business plan projections
- 3. Projecting cash flows and assessing financial viability of partnership distribution deals
- 4. Ongoing review of deals
- 5. Any other Analytical activities required to be carried out as and when required.- Prophet Modelling:
- 1. Modelling new products in Excel and prophet for reserving and Embedded Value calculations
- 2. Oversee maintenance of a timely, accurate, well-documented, and comprehensive modelling process, including UAT
- 3. Liasoning with Pricing, Valuation and Embedded Value teams for making required changes to prophet workspace- Competencies- 1. Technical Actuarial Knowhow
- 2. Proficiency in understanding actuarial cash flows
- 3. Critical eye for Detail
- 4. Working knowledge of MS - Excel, VBA, Prophet,DCS,SQL and R programming
- 5. Adept in multi-tasking and handing multiple processes- Education & Experience- 1. Should have cleared 12+ actuarial exams, with consistent exam pass history
- 2. 4 to 7 years of life insurance experienceAbout Company
