The Insurance Telesales Representative is responsible for selling insurance products and services over the phone. This role involves contacting potential customers, explaining various insurance plans, addressing client needs, and closing sales. The representative must maintain a strong understanding of insurance products, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and provide exceptional customer service to convert leads into sales.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Lead Generation & Prospecting**:
- Initiate outbound calls or respond to inbound inquiries to generate sales leads.
- Identify and qualify prospective customers based on needs and eligibility.
- Maintain a pipeline of potential clients and actively work to meet sales targets.
- **Product Knowledge**:
- Stay up-to-date with the company’s insurance products, services, and industry trends.
- Explain the details of various insurance policies, including coverage options, exclusions, premiums, and benefits to customers.
- **Sales & Closing**:
- Assess customer needs to recommend appropriate insurance plans.
- Present and explain policy options, addressing any objections or concerns.
- Convert leads into policyholders by effectively closing sales over the phone.
- **Customer Service**:
- Provide exceptional customer service by being responsive to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sale support.
- Maintain customer relationships to encourage retention and cross-sell additional products.
- **Data Entry & Reporting**:
- Update and maintain customer records, including contact information and sales progress, in the CRM system.
- Track and report on sales performance, meeting quotas, and key metrics.
- **Compliance & Regulations**:
- Ensure that all sales practices comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Accurately complete all required documentation and follow legal and regulatory requirements.
**Key Skills & Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in telesales, telemarketing, or insurance sales is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to explain complex insurance products in simple terms.
- Goal-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport.
- High level of self-motivation and a proactive approach to sales.
- Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
