Job Description: Storekeeper for Electrical Spare Parts

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and responsible individual to join our construction firm as a Storekeeper for Electrical Spare Parts. As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing the inventory of electrical spare parts, ensuring their proper storage, and facilitating their distribution to meet the needs of our construction projects. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of electrical spare parts will be crucial in this role.

**Responsibilities**:
Inventory Management:Maintain accurate records of all electrical spare parts in stock.
Monitor stock levels and anticipate future requirements to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Conduct regular stock inspections and perform stocktaking to ensure accuracy.
Implement proper labeling, coding, and categorization of spare parts for easy identification and retrieval.

Procurement and Replenishment:Coordinate with suppliers and place orders for electrical spare parts based on project requirements and stock levels.
Verify received orders and ensure their completeness and quality.
Inspect and assess the condition of incoming spare parts for defects or damage.
Replenish stock in a timely manner to avoid delays or shortages in construction projects.

Storage and Organization:Ensure the proper storage of electrical spare parts in designated areas.
Implement appropriate storage techniques to maintain the integrity and usability of spare parts.
Arrange spare parts in a systematic manner for easy retrieval and inventory management.
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations when handling and storing electrical spare parts.

Documentation and Reporting:Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions, including receipts, deliveries, and stock adjustments.
Generate regular reports on stock levels, consumption patterns, and inventory valuation.
Provide accurate and up-to-date information on the availability of electrical spare parts to project managers and other stakeholders.

Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and timelines.
Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding orders, delivery schedules, and quality issues.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure the smooth flow of spare parts and materials to construction sites.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a storekeeper or similar role, preferably in the electrical spare parts industry or construction field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical spare parts and their specifications.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects when required.
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations related to storing electrical spare parts.

**Salary**: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
