Job Description:
Health Basix is looking for a School Counselor with at least one year of experience working as a counselor in a school setting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Identifying Behavioural, Social and Emotional challenges experienced by the students.
2. Provide insight development sessions, and scientifically based psychotherapeutic techniques to reduce the intensity and frequency of the distress and challenges faced by the client/ student(s)
4. Identify emotional and behavioural triggers, and teach coping strategies to prevent the students from distressing experiences.
5. Report any incidents of self-harm including cutting oneself, calling oneself negative names, pondering over suicidal thoughts etc to parents and school management.
6. Manage stress and other related experiences among students
8. Provide counselling sessions for teachers and parents as per the school's request
9. Maintain records and documentation of the student's counselling sessions.
