**Brief Description about the Project**

The USDA Cornell Gut microbiome research program focuses on understanding the effect of multiple micronutrient fortified salt on the gut microbiome and metabolic health outcomes.

The collaboration of maternal and child nutrition program between SJRI and Cornell University in South India includes randomized controlled trials, cohort studies and a population - based periconceptional surveillance program.

We are seeking a Research Coordinator to join our research team, to work both at SJRI and at our research field site.

**Position Starting**: 01st November, 2024

**No. of Vacancy**:One

**Salary**: Rs. 30,000/- month (Inclusive of HRA)

**Preferred Qualifications**:M.Sc. in Nutrition, Epidemiology, Public Health, or related field.

**Language**:Telugu, English.

**Location**: Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh (Research Field Site) and Bangalore, India.

**Experience**:Minimum Experience of 1 to 2 years.
- Research experience in public health research field setting.
- Strong technical, analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills, written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills; and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary research team.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and consistent follow through on research projects.
- Project management experience and prior public health fieldwork experience preferred.

**Last Day for Receiving Application**:14th October 2024

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
S/he will assist with research activities and project logistics, including development of research protocols, updating study specific documentation and progress reports, and collaborate with SJRI-Cornell team members on the development and submission of research publications.
