**Position Overview**: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial record keeping, assisting with various accounting tasks, and contributing to the smooth operation of our finance department. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our financial data. Please note that you will be working within the UK financial domain.

Most of our roles falls within the temporary staffing space involving sectors such as IT, Social Housing, HR, Health, Retail, Procurement, Administrative roles etc. We handle a high volume job pipeline with fast turn around times.

**Responsibilities**:
Data Entry and Bookkeeping: Accurately input financial transactions into the accounting system, including invoices, receipts, and journal entries. Maintain up-to-date and organized records of financial transactions.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, verifying vendor details, and reconciling statements. Prepare and send payment reminders to customers and clients, ensuring timely collections.

Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy between recorded transactions and actual financial statements.

Expense Management: Review and categorize employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accurate allocation of expenses.

Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and summaries for management review, providing accurate and timely insights into the company's financial performance.

Assist in Auditing: Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.

Data Integrity: Maintain the accuracy and confidentiality of financial information, exercising caution and precision in all data entry and processing tasks.

Documentation: Maintain organized and easily accessible electronic and physical financial records for reference and audit purposes.

Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including filing, scanning, and responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

Compliance: Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.

**Qualifications**:
Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred. Relevant coursework or certifications in accounting can be advantageous.

Numerical Skills: Proficient in working with numbers, performing calculations, and reconciling discrepancies.

Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial data entry and record keeping.

Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication skills to interact with colleagues, vendors, and clients professionally.

Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software, spreadsheets, and office productivity tools. Experience with software such as QuickBooks, Excel, or similar platforms is a plus.

Problem-Solving: Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial data.

Integrity: Strong ethics and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes, tools, and responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

**Salary**: ₹9,210.17 - ₹15,000.00 per month
