- **Maintenance and Repair**:Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing malfunctioning or broken equipment and machinery.
- **Reading Technical Drawings**:Understanding and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide their work.
- **Quality Control**:Ensuring that all components and assemblies meet required dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.
- **Safety Compliance**:Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations while working with machinery and tools.
- **Collaboration**:Working with engineers, production teams, and other fitters on projects.
- **Record Keeping**:Documenting maintenance and repair activities and reporting on work progress.
- **Use of Tools and Equipment**:Proficiently using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery relevant to the fitter trade.
