**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-impact keywords for our website content.
- Assist in optimizing website pages, including meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking, to improve organic search rankings.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are applied to new and existing content.
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports on key SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and backlink profile.
- Perform competitor analysis to identify opportunities and develop strategies to enhance our search engine visibility.
- Stay updated on SEO industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to recommend innovative strategies and tactics.
- Assist in conducting technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues that may impact search engine rankings.
- Research and identify opportunities for link-building and outreach to relevant websites and influencers.
- Collaborate with the development team to optimize website performance, page load speed, and mobile responsiveness.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring local SEO strategies to improve visibility in specific geographic regions.

**Job Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn about the latest SEO trends and techniques.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player mentality.

This is a paid internship position. The exact working hours and compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
