Cameraman Intern

**Position**: Cameraman Intern
**Location**: TV 100 News Channel

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in setting up and operating camera equipment during live and recorded news broadcasts.
- Capture high-quality video footage, ensuring proper framing, focus, and lighting for news segments.
- Work closely with the director and crew to ensure smooth and efficient production flow.
- Maintain and prepare camera equipment for use in the field and studio settings.
- Support in pre-production, including setting up shots, locations, and other technical needs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with camera equipment as they arise.
- Collaborate with the editorial and production team to ensure the visual aspects of the broadcast are aligned with the news coverage.
- Participate in daily news production meetings to review storylines, camera angles, and other technical considerations.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Enrolled in or recent graduate of a Mass Communication or related degree program.
- **Technical Skills**: Basic knowledge of camera operation and understanding of the fundamentals of video production. Familiarity with professional cameras (e.g., Sony, Canon) is a plus.
- **Interest in TV News**: Strong enthusiasm for TV production and the fast-paced nature of news reporting.
- **Creativity & Attention to Detail**: Ability to compose visually engaging shots while adhering to production standards.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and potentially holidays.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to take direction and provide feedback in a professional manner.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience with camera equipment (even in a college setting or as a hobby).
- Knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
