**About Dhampur Green**:
Dhampur Green is dedicated to sustainable practices and community welfare. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, we are launching a dog shelter program focused on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming stray and abandoned dogs. We are looking for a compassionate and responsible Caretaker to join our team and support our mission.
**Position Overview**:
As a Caretaker for the Dhampur Green Dog Shelter initiative, you will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of the dogs in our shelter. Your role is vital in ensuring that the dogs receive the attention, care, and love they need to thrive.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide daily care for shelter dogs, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shelter environment, including dog areas and communal spaces.
- Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff.
- Assist with socialization and training of dogs to prepare them for adoption.
- Support the intake and adoption processes, including paperwork and communication with potential adopters.
- Help organize and participate in community outreach and educational events.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience working with animals, especially dogs, is preferred.
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to their care.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical capability to handle dogs of various sizes and manage shelter tasks.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed.
