**Job Summary: ( Plus Service Charge + Tips)**

The Cashier is responsible for processing customer transactions efficiently, accurately, and with a positive attitude. The role involves handling cash, credit, and debit transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the checkout area in a clean and organized manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Transaction Processing**:

- Accurately handle customer purchases by scanning items and entering prices into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Accept payments, issue receipts, and manage refunds or exchanges in compliance with store policies.
- Balance cash register at the start and end of each shift.
- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Respond to customer inquiries about products, prices, or store policies.
- Assist customers with resolving transaction-related issues or complaints.
- **Cash Handling**:

- Count cash in the register at the beginning and end of shifts, ensuring accurate amounts.
- Secure cash payments and deposit them in accordance with store security procedures.
- Handle credit, debit, and mobile payments, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.
- **Checkout Area Management**:

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout counter.
- Restock bags, receipt paper, and other supplies as needed.
- Ensure the register is ready for use during busy periods by keeping items in place and minimizing delays.
- **Promotions and Discounts**:

- Inform customers of ongoing sales, promotions, and store events when applicable.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- **Experience**:

- Prior experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic POS systems is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
