Global Finance is integral to HSBC’s purpose and strategy, playing a valued role in managing costs and deploying capital in the most effective way. The Global Finance team partner with the business to provide trusted insights and forward looking analysis; accuracy; efficiency and control to frame and influence business decisions. India Finance is currently seeking a C.A. Industrial Trainee to be a part of the Wholesale Business Finance team in INM.
The Wholesale Business Finance team partners the GBM and CMB business by providing meaningful analysis of financials and performance, challenging and supporting the business in their initiatives to meet their strategic objectives.
**Principal Responsibilitie**s**
- Support wholesale business in managing and optimizing long term and sustainable profitability by analysing various aspect of business, analyse strategic options to suggest and implement competitive strategies.
- Engagement with GB and CMB business teams to understand their MI requirements
- Assisting in the monthly/ annual forecast exercise and challenge business
- Assisting in the annual planning process in building the financial plans for the business.
- Assist in driving Financial Business performance & reporting function through meaningful analysis of key P&L and Balance Sheet drivers and support cost control initiatives for each business
Requirements
- C.A. student undertaking articleship and interested in industrial training
- Effective analytical skills
- Good spoken and written communication
- Minimum Graduation or as required for the role, whichever is higher
