The Primary English Teacher will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing the English curriculum for primary students (Grades 1-5). This role requires fostering a love for the English language through engaging lessons, activities, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment. The teacher will also work closely with students, parents, and other staff members to ensure academic growth and development in English language skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**:

- Teach English language, grammar, reading, and writing to primary school students.
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
- Encourage student participation and foster a passion for language learning.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish and maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.
- Address behavioral issues with appropriate techniques and support students' emotional well-being.
- Use various teaching methods, including storytelling, interactive activities, and technology.
- **Assessment and Progress Monitoring**:

- Assess student progress through written tests, oral exams, and assignments.
- Maintain up-to-date records of students' progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Adapt teaching methods based on the individual needs of students.
- **Parent and Staff Collaboration**:

- Communicate regularly with parents to update them on their child's progress.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences.
- **Extra-curricular Engagement**:

- Encourage participation in school activities, including reading programs, drama, or creative writing contests.
- Foster a reading culture within the classroom and throughout the school.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on new teaching strategies, resources, and techniques for teaching English.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- **Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a related field.
- Degree in English Language/Literature (preferred).
- **Certifications**:

- CTET or other teaching certifications (if required by the institution)
- **Experience**: Prior experience in teaching English at the primary level (preferred).
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
- **Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of the English language, grammar, and literature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Patience, creativity, and the ability to make learning fun.
- Strong classroom management skills.
