**Role description**:
**Job Title**: Manual with Automation with BIOS Tester
**Experience Range**: 4+ years
**Hiring Location**: Bangalore

**Must-Have Skills**:

- Strong experience in **Python Automation**:

- Proficiency in **Windows PowerShell scripting**:

- Awareness of **BIOS and firmware** functionalities
- Hands-on experience in **manual testing**:

- Familiarity with **JIRA** for test management and defect tracking
- Ability to work as an **individual contributor** and take ownership of tasks
- Strong **collaboration skills** to work with cross-functional teams

**Good-to-Have Skills**:

- Experience with **test automation frameworks** (PyTest, Robot Framework)
- Knowledge of **hardware and system-level testing**:

- Exposure to **API automation**:

- Understanding of **CI/CD pipelines** (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Experience with **version control systems** (Git, Bitbucket)

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain **Python automation scripts** for testing and validation
- Write and execute **Windows PowerShell scripts** for system-level automation
- Perform **manual testing** to validate system behavior and functionality
- Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure seamless **test execution and issue resolution**
- Work with **BIOS settings and configurations** for testing and validation
- Track and manage defects using **JIRA**, ensuring timely resolution
- Document test cases, test results, and automation scripts for future reference
- Participate in **test planning, execution, and reporting** activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve **automation and system-related issues**
- Stay updated with the latest **testing methodologies and automation best practices**
