**Job Summary**

The Assistant Store Incharge will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the store or warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, proper documentation, and timely availability of materials. The role involves supporting the Store Incharge in maintaining stock accuracy, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Inventory Management**
- Monitor stock levels and assist in maintaining optimal inventory to support production and operations.
- Ensure accurate receiving, storing, and issuing of materials as per company guidelines.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies, if any.

**2. Material Handling**
- Assist in the proper storage of materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
- Ensure materials are organized systematically and easily accessible.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams for timely material availability.

**3. Documentation and Reporting**
- Maintain accurate records of stock transactions, including goods received, issued, and returned.
- Generate periodic inventory and stock movement reports for review by the Store Incharge.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards and company policies.

**4. Coordination and Communication**
- Liaise with suppliers, procurement teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth store operations.
- Address and resolve minor issues related to material shortages, quality, or delays.

**5. Compliance and Safety**
- Ensure adherence to safety standards in material handling and storage.
- Support the implementation of 5S, FIFO, and other warehouse management practices.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

**6. Support to Store Incharge**
- Assist in planning and organizing store activities as directed by the Store Incharge.
- Step in to manage store operations in the absence of the Store Incharge.

**Key Qualifications**

**Education**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience in store or warehouse operations, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing setup.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP software.

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**
- Accuracy in stock records and inventory levels.
- Timely issue of materials to production.
- Reduction in material wastage or damage.
- Compliance with safety and storage standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
