Who we are looking for:
The main function of the role is ensuring accurate Intersystem reconciliation of trades and resolution of breaks between Front Office / Middle Office and Back Office Systems.

1. Basic understanding of settlements for generic equities, fixed income, futures and foreign exchange
2. Process trades
3. Confirmation of client trades by phone, fax or electronic mail
4. Interact on a daily basis with prime brokers and client counterparties
5. Resolution of trade breaks with client and counterparties
6. Resolve fail with prime broker and counterparties
7. Process client trademan files via excel
8. Run end of day pricing reports and lock downs
9. Review positions and P&L with client
10. Run end of day management reports
11. During the course of normal day to day operation, responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and must report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures
What you will be responsible for:
The responsibilities of this role will include, but will not be limited to:
- Confirm trades with brokers on Trade Date- Instruct trades to Custodian/Administrator/Client- Communicate all settlement information to the appropriate custodian, and broker.- Resolve any unmatched / failed trades- Resolve any trade related queries with both internal and external parties- Ensure accurate portfolio positions are reflected on the accounting/trading systems- Maintain a database of account, client and custodian details- Know and comply with company policies and procedures- Monitor broker/custodian performance through the use of issue logs- Respond to queries raised by Portfolio Managers/Brokers/Custodians/other Investment Operations departments- Respond to ad hoc requests- Work with other Investment Operations departments and Investment teams to improve processing efficiency- Review current process and make suggestion to improve processing efficiency- Complete projects as assigned
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy or Business-related degree.- Former Client service experience would be an advantage.- MBA/CFA accreditation would be an advantage.- Very good working knowledge of Excel.- Excellent English skills.- Must have the initiative and capability to collaborate with a diverse stakeholder base to deliver timely and high quality output- Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail
