**Job Summary**:
As a Junior Editor, you will play a key role in the editorial process, assisting senior editors in preparing manuscripts for publication. You will be responsible for proofreading, copyediting, and providing feedback to authors to ensure the quality and coherence of our publications. **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Proofreading and Copyediting**: Review manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and consistency in adherence to our style guide.
- **Content Evaluation**: Assess the clarity, coherence, and overall quality of manuscripts, providing constructive feedback to authors.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with senior editors, authors, and other team members to ensure deadlines are met and editorial standards are maintained.
- **Research**: Conduct research on relevant topics to verify facts, ensure accuracy, and enhance the credibility of our publications.
- **Formatting and Layout**: Assist in formatting manuscripts for publication, including layout design, font selection, and image placement.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct thorough reviews of final proofs to identify and correct any remaining errors before publication.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Perform various administrative duties, such as tracking manuscripts, maintaining editorial schedules, and organizing files.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to proofreading and editing.
- Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
