Perfumer

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Odor evaluation of aroma chemicals and essential oils and other perfumery raw materials
- Create, maintain and analyse odour profile database for various raw materials, essential oils, aroma chemicals and perfumery ingredients
- Create essential oil, perfumery blends, dilutions, emulsification as required by customers
- Create perfumery compounds made of essential oils and other ingredients for agarbathi, mouth freshener, pharmaceutical, food and flavors, fragrances industry
- Create, record and evaluate aromatherapy blends
- Work on GC and GCMS analysis of perfumer ingredients, aroma chemicals, essential oils
- Fingerprinting, identification, and categorization of essential oils based on their odour profile
- Creating matching blends, and compounds as per customer and management requirements. Evaluating/analyzing incoming batch samples/reference samples/pre-shipment samples for odour/aroma profile.
- Graduate with B.Sc Chemistry. Postgraduate Diploma in Perfumery & Cosmetics Management/ Certificate course in Perfumery & Cosmetics Management
- At least have a minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in the Naturals and Aroma Chemicals Industry
- Understanding of perfumery raw materials, aroma chemicals, essential oils, aroma molecules
- Sound knowledge of GC, GCMS analysis
- High Level of oil Factory skills
- Knowledge of aromatherapy and aromatherapy blends is added advantage
- Skilled in the creation and matching of fragrances across categories and for different markets
- Management and leadership skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
