**Responsibilities**
- Identify and confirm system requirements from business users based on functional specifications given.
- SAP HANA modelling and scripting experience including ability to write complex stored procedures and HANA views using SQL
- Administer data models in SAP HANA, including setting of information validation rules, managing schemas, the importing/exporting and transporting of data models.
- Monitor, investigate and optimize data models and reporting performance on SAP HANA. Advise on modelling approach and tools to achieve optimum performance.
- Evaluate the impact of different implementation options such as table joins, aggregation, or filters. Understand the implication on performance of the various reporting tools and connection types
- Script to enhance the data models in SAP HANA using AFL, CE functions, and ANSI-SQL.
- Implement data models with SAP HANA using analytical and calculated views. Should be able to advice on the modelling approach and best practices.
- Experience in data provisioning using smart data access/ smart data Quality (SDI/SDQ).
- Good to have HANA upgrade or migration project experience.
- Good Understanding of ABAP, extractor enhancement, user exits, customer exits, ABAP on HANA coding principles and PL/SQL.
- Must be experienced in developing BEx Queries and integration with BO reporting tools.
- Proficient in SAP BI/BW Back-end development and configuration, testing and pre-production support
- Proficient with SAP BW on HANA system architecture design and performance optimization Creates transformations,
- Responsible for root cause analysis and providing solutions for production and development issues.
- Sound knowledge of data provisioning into the SAP HANA database using SLT, BODS bringing data from ECC and Flat files.
- SAP BI Analytics on HANA views using Lumira, BOBJ and Fiori.
- Work on SAP HANA CDS, external SAP HANA Views for SAP BW4HANA objects.
- Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing.
- May be required to work on pre-defined shift plans and/or be on standby for operations support.
- Own Service and Incident Management and involve in change management process
- Drive automation in the SAP area, including developing automation code/scripts.
- Contribute to design and validate architecture of tooling and automation solutions
- Drive best practices within teams with respect to SAP security standards and guidelines
- Develop strategic SAP Roadmaps for our customers covering key topics and initiatives
- Develop Build and drive management relationships with large, global customers
- Identify customer needs and advise on DXC services & solutions
- Identify and drive sales opportunities together with the account teams
- Interface with customers and own all deliverables for customers.
- Define a continuous improvement plan and drive its execution

**Primary Skills and Qualifications**
- 5+ yrs of experience in SAP BW and 2 + yrs of experience in HANA Modelling.
- Experience in BW HANA performance optimization and tuning for front-end dashboards reports and backend data models with SAP BW modeling hands-on.
- Should have worked on S4HANA embedded analytics with at least one implementation experience.
- FOX Formulae’s and ABAP based planning functions
- Working experience on BPC/Embedded BPC planning and Planning on SAC
- Ability to write ABAP Code and BADI as needed for SAP BW Integrated Planning
- Extensive technical knowledge of BPC embedded, BW-IP and SAC Planning
- Expert in core BW4HANA areas:

- HANA Modelling: Info-objects, Composite Provider Advanced DSO, Open ODS View and CDS views, HANA views.
- Integrated planning: Planning sequence, Planning filters, Aggregation layers, and AMDP.
- Data provision, SLT, APD.
