A highly skilled Application Architect with extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. Should have a deep understanding of financial services and payments domains and expertise in advanced technologies, software development practices, and cloud platforms. Involves close collaboration with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Architecture Design and Development**:

- Define system designs that align with business objectives, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Architect solutions leveraging event-driven and message queue architectures (e.g., Apache Kafka, Apache Pulsar, etc).

2. **Domain Expertise**:

- Implement solutions tailored to the financial services and payments domain, adhering to industry standards and regulatory compliance.

**3. Microservices and Cloud**:

- Design and implement microservices architectures with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
- Deploy serverless computing models on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

4. **DevOps and SDLC**:

- Lead DevOps practices to enable CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and integration.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.

**5. Security and Testing**:

- Advocate for and implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Test-Driven Design approaches.

**6. Database and Integration Management**:

- Manage and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
- Oversee system integrations, ensuring robust communication between systems.

**7. Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Management**:

- Lead technical teams in delivering complex projects, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Act as the liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of requirements and progress.

**8. Documentation and Governance**:

- Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including design specifications, security guidelines, and technical roadmaps.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:
**1. Technical Expertise**:

- Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java EE, and related frameworks.
- Expertise in cloud computing platforms and container orchestration tools.
- Solid experience in event-driven architectures and messaging systems.

**2. Domain Knowledge**:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial services and payments systems, with a focus on secure and compliant architectures.

**3. Software Development Practices**:

- Advanced understanding of SDLC, TDD, and secure coding methodologies.

**4. Tools and Technologies**:

- Proficient in tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, GitLab, Jenkins, and Terraform.

**5. Soft Skills**:

- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team and stakeholder collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect).
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory compliance in the financial domain (e.g., PCI-DSS).
- Experience with emerging technologies like AI/ML in financial services.
