Professor Sociology

**Key Responsibilities:1. Teaching and Learning**
- Deliver lectures and seminars at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.
- Develop curriculum and teaching materials in line with current academic and societal trends.
- Mentor and supervise postgraduate and Ph.D. students.
- Use innovative and student-centric pedagogy and technology-enabled learning tools.

**2. Research and Publications**
- Undertake independent and collaborative research projects.
- Publish high-quality research papers in peer-reviewed journals (preferably Scopus/UGC-CARE listed).
- Present research at national and international conferences.

**3. Academic Leadership and Administration**
- Provide academic leadership within the department and contribute to institutional goals.
- Serve on academic and administrative committees.
- Develop collaborations with national and international institutions.
- Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and symposia.

**4. Community Engagement and Extension**
- Engage with society through community-based research and outreach programs.
- Provide expert advice and consultancy services in areas of specialization.

**Eligibility Criteria (As per UGC Regulations)**:

- **Educational Qualification**:
Ph.D. in Sociology or related field from a recognized university.

Pay: ₹22,351.99 - ₹50,000.00 per month
