Pd Merchandiser

**Job Summary**:
The PD Merchandiser (Garments) is responsible for managing and coordinating the development of garment samples from concept to pre-production. This role requires close collaboration with design teams, buyers, suppliers, and internal production units to ensure that samples are developed according to specifications, timelines, and cost targets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with design and buying teams to understand seasonal product requirements and trends.
- Develop product ranges based on buyer's tech packs, mood boards, and market feedback.
- Source and develop fabrics, trims, and accessories in line with product needs.
- Follow up with vendors and suppliers for timely submission of samples (proto, fit, size set, PP).
- Ensure all samples meet the required specifications in terms of design, quality, fit, and measurements.
- Maintain T&A (Time & Action) calendar and ensure strict adherence to development timelines.
- Negotiate sample and bulk prices with vendors and monitor product costing to stay within target margins.
- Conduct risk assessments on new styles and provide feasible solutions to buyers and production teams.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC and technical teams for sample evaluation and feedback implementation.
- Maintain records of sample approvals, rejections, buyer comments, and revisions.
- Liaise with production teams to ensure smooth handover from development to bulk.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Merchandising, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in product development merchandising (garment industry).
- Experience working with export houses.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
