**Position**: Solar Technician

**Location**:Bhubaneswar

**Type**: Full-Time

**Reports To**:Operation Head

Solar technicians may work on residential, commercial, and industrial properties to help reduce energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions. They may use a variety of tools and equipment to complete installations and ensure that the system is connected correctly to the power grid.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing solar panels and related systems
- Designing solar panel systems based on customer needs and structural conditions
- Assembling and installing the racking, panels, and electrical equipment
- Connecting the panels to the electrical system
- Activating and testing the solar panel system
- Performing system maintenance
- Troubleshooting electrical problems
- Doing any and all electrical work needed to connect solar system to electric grid
- Ensuring that the system is connected correctly to the power grid
- Perform onsite installations, repairs, and troubleshooting. Check and provide complete documentation to clients. Carry out site root analysis.
- Assess the job site, identify and resolve any potential hazards
- Create or interpret the solar panel installation plans, mapping out the steps of the installation and where all of the components will be installed.
- Install, inspect, maintain and repair solar panel systems, including the solar collectors, concentrators, batteries, pumps, fans, or support structure.
- Does any and all electrical work needed to connect solar system to electric grid. This includes proper grounding systems, controls and all testing necessary.
- Weather proofs the solar installation in accordance with local safety regulations and the specifications of the manufacturer.

**Qualification**:
ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in Electrical.

**Experience**:Minimum 2 years as a solar site technician in onsite operation.

**Skills**:Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems Installation / Electrical wiring / Problem-solving / Decision-making skills

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
