_**Job description**_
- **_We are looking for an ambitious Accounts Trainee/ Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances._**

**_Role._**
- _Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded._
- _Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity._
- _Updates accounts payable & receivable, issue invoices and perform reconciliations._
- _Regularly updating all accounting ledgers and journals._
- _Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines._
- _Update financial data in database to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed._
- _Analysing financial records to identify errors and discrepancies._
- _Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports._
- _Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings._

**_Requirements_**
- _0 to 1 year experience in Accounting._
- _Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices._
- _Good knowledge in MS Excel and Accounting software’s like Tally, Peachtree, SAP, etc._
- _Basic book keeping skills._
- _The ability to multi-task._
- _Effective communication skills_
