**Position Overview**

Sarvotam Solutions is looking for a Game Designer who will design creative and fun levels and gameplay on some of Sarvotam Solutions’s top games. The Associate Game Designer will add a fresh perspective, creativity, and have a measurable impact on the game and the design.

**What You'll Do**
- Work closely with Game Developers and cross-functionally with UX, engineering, and product management on the design and implementation of new game features. Build and lead the implementation of fun, engaging in-game events and other game content.

**What You Bring**:

- Knowledge building in-game content designed to appeal to a specific audience
- Deep understanding of basic economy balance and tuning
- Knowledge writing clear and concise specs, user flows, and feature documentation
- Knowledge of shipping at least 1-2 commercially successful games.
- Strong knowledge of game mechanics, systems design, and level design.
- Deep understanding of game economy design, user progression, and monetization models (F2P, ads, IAPs).
- Proficient in Excel and project management
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Game Design & Development**
- Design and document core game mechanics, meta systems, and content loops.
- Develop engaging level design, progression systems, and balancing.
- Own the design vision from concept to implementation, collaborating closely with developers, artists, and producers.
- Create detailed GDDs (Game Design Documents), UX wireframes, and design specs.
- Build and iterate on prototypes to test new ideas and mechanics.

**Balancing & Tuning**
- Balance gameplay mechanics to ensure fun, fairness, and challenge.
- Tune game economies (virtual currencies, item pricing, rewards) for optimal player engagement and monetization.

**Player Experience & Narrative**
- Craft player-centric experiences, focusing on onboarding, tutorials, and progression.
- Work with writers or narrative designers to align game story with mechanics.

**Cross-functional Collaboration**
- Work closely with CXOs, developers, artists, and QA to ensure seamless implementation of features.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

**Analytics & Optimization**
- Interpret game analytics to refine systems and enhance KPIs like retention, engagement, and ARPU.
- Run A/B tests and gather player feedback for data-driven improvements.

**Tools & Documentation**
- Use tools like Unity, Asset Stores, Blender, Maya, Photoshop, Adobe, Figma, Miro, Google Docs/Sheets, Trello/JIRA for design and documentation.
- Maintain clear and organized design systems and change logs.

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
