Reports to Maitre D’Hotel
Direct Reports Team Restaurant Supervisor, Waiter, Assistant Waiter
RESPONSIBILITIES - Controls all restaurant service stations are clean and the mise en place is correct before and after every
service.
- Controls the daily work of Dining Service Crew in the assigned restaurant.
- Handles and resolves Guest complaints regarding dining quality and service.
- Supports the Maître D’Hotel in cost control responsibilities through close monitoring of the inventory.
- Assists the Maître D’Hotel, ensuring compliance with quality and sanitation standards and procedures
in all restaurants, crew mess rooms and room service.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Professional
compliance
- Education within hotel/catering industry or equivalent experience in 4- or 5-star restaurant, hotel or
resort.
- Food Safety/HACCP certificate required.
- Intermediate knowledge on food safety.
- Good management and organization skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion about hospitality and customer service driven.
- Cruise industry experience is an advantage.
- Possess a valid passport and seaman book.
IT/Equipment
expertise
Proficiency in Computers. Microsoft programs to include but not limited to, Outlook, Word, Excel.
Language Capability Fluent in written and spoken English. Any additional European language is considered an advantage.
