**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and deliver lectures, labs, and other course materials in Zoology for undergraduate students
- Assess student learning and provide feedback on their academic progress
- Conduct research in the field of Zoology and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Participate in departmental and college-wide activities such as faculty meetings, student advising, and service on committees
- Engage in professional development activities to remain current in the field and bring new ideas and knowledge to the department
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
**Qualifications**:
- PhD in Zoology or related field
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in Zoology
- Strong research record in the field of Zoology, with publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the college
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and research
