**Job Title**: Derivatives Trader.

**Location**: Worli, Mumbai.

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execute and manage derivatives trading strategies in base and precious metals markets (e.g. Base metal, precious metal, Energy).
- Monitor global market conditions, macroeconomic developments, and supply/demand fundamentals to identify trading opportunities.
- Hedge physical positions using futures, options, and other financial instruments.
- Optimize trading portfolios to manage risk and maximize returns within set risk parameters.
- Collaborate with physical traders to align derivative strategies with physical positions and market view.
- Maintain real-time awareness of market developments, regulatory changes, and exchange rules.
- Develop and improve trading models and tools to enhance decision-making and strategy execution.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk limits, and external regulations.
- Report P&L, exposure, and risk metrics on a daily basis.

**Qualification & other requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Work Exp. - 2 years or above in derivatives trading, preferably in commodity or metal markets.
- Strong understanding of futures, options, and commodity derivatives pricing and mechanics.
- Solid grasp of risk management, trading strategies, and portfolio optimization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Analytical thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience in both exchange-traded and OTC markets.
- Background in physical metals trading or close collaboration with physical desks.
- Familiarity with LME, CME, SHFE, and other major commodity exchanges.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
