Production Planner/master Scheduler 3

**The Impact You’ll Make**

Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Master Scheduler: Provides input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with marketing, sales, production and engineering managers. Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Oversees the master schedules and ensures comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing.

**Responsibilities**:

- This is an individual contributor role reporting into the Master Scheduling Manager.
- The incumbent is responsible for creating and managing the factory master production schedule, MRP demand management accuracy, and ensuring scheduling milestones are met.
- He/she is self-motivated, self-disciplined and demonstrates knowledge of Production Planning and Master Scheduling.
- Works with the Build Plan Manager to establish production schedules, optimize manufacturing and material capacity
- Responsible for accurately managing operation and material scheduling
- Manages Master Production Schedule (MPS) records
- Evaluates incoming change orders for material and labor impact to production schedules,
- Communicates impact of changes to customer delivery dates and potential downstream impact to production schedule.
- Makes recommendations on alternate solutions to mitigate changes to a customer’s delivery commit date.
- Participates in reviewing rework strategies for finished goods inventory.
- Attends daily operations related meetings

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s in degree required at least (Engineering preferred) with 3 - 8 Years of experience
- Minimum 3~8 years’ experience in Master scheduling and Production Planning functions
- MRP skill required (SAP experience preferred)
- Production scheduling and operation skill required
- Inventory management required
- Fluent English speaking, reading, listening and writing skill required
- Semiconductor Fab Process Equipment and complicated BOM Configuration knowledge
- Project management skill preferred
- Interpersonal communication skill
- Good business sense of urgency and importance
- MS office and program utilization preferred

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Semiconductor industry background preferred
