you’ll be our : Manufacturing Engineer, Polymer Technologist

you’ll be based at: IBC, Bangalore

you’ll be Aligned with: Manufacturing Engineering, Components and Special processes

you’ll be a member of: Manufacturing Engineering team

What you’ll do at Ather:

- Be the Point of contact for program from Manufacturing Engineering perspective looking at Polymers, Lubricants, Sealants and Adhesives
- Work on New product introduction and development - bring the product out Right first time and on time.
- Create process flow diagrams and control plans where required
- Coordinating between ME & swimlanes teams(Cross functional teams) for resolving issues pertaining to sustenance, cycle time improvements, proof of concept

Here’s what we are looking for:
Domain skills:

- Knowhow of basics of adhesives, sealants and polymers
- Knowledge of Surface coating technologies
- hands on problem solving in it would be added plus
- Costing, testing and development of standards would be an added plus
- Experience in project management
- New product development

Tools:

- APQP, Problem solving tools

Behavioral skills:

- Good collaborative skills
- Good verbal & written communication
- Embracing change
- Innovation

You bring to Ather:
Diploma/Bachelor degree in engineering in Polymer Technology/Materials Engineering or equivalent discipline, 5 to 10 years of working experience in automotive industries, experience in project management will be an advantage.
