**OVERVIEW**

We are looking for an Editorial Associate who can work with our students to translate their life experiences into engaging and compelling personal statements.

Location: Must be based in Mumbai

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Brainstorming — participating in mentorship sessions with students and our senior counsellor to come up with creative essay ideas.
- Structural support — guiding students and responding to their queries throughout the writing process from the rough outline to the final draft.
- Research guidance — helping students conduct detailed and relevant college-specific research to allude to in their essays.
- Thorough feedback and editing — reviewing student work under the guidance of the senior counsellor to ensure the essays, forms, recommendations, and resumes are up to the highest standard.
- Designing content — devising worksheets, presentations, and social media creatives in support of our brand identity.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A Bachelor's degree with exposure to the liberal arts; preferred majors include (but are not limited to) English, History, Psychology, Media Studies, and Business.
- A confident communicator with exemplary written and spoken skills.
- An empathetic person, capable of listening and counselling thoughtfully.
- A creative mind, with experience developing cohesive narratives and conducting in-depth research.
- An entrepreneurial spirit; the ability to organise, multitask, set priorities, and take initiative is vital.
