**_ The Opportunity_**_:_

Design/Strategy: The Data Analyst designs and supports the business's reporting needs using Tableau and in the future other BI tools.

Collaboration: The role that the Data Analyst plays is highly collaborative and, as such, works closely with Data engineers and business analysts within the business. Also works closely with other disciplines/departments and teams across the business in coming up with simple, functional, and elegant solutions that balance data needs across the business.

Analytics: Data Analyst plays an analytical role in quickly and thoroughly analyzing business requirements for reporting and analysis and subsequently translating the emanating results into good technical data designs.
- Experience: 3-5 years hands on experience in UGNX cable routing

Education: BE/B-Tech with Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Use electrical team inputs (E3s, cable list etc.,) to understand source and destination points for cables, including end connection inside cabinet where applicable.
- Analyze and segregate various cables considering AC/DC/Signal classes
- Identify exact source and destination points in mechanical structure 3D CAD Model/Assembly (UG/Solid works/Pro-e/Autodesk)
- **Perform and implement cable design and cable routing optimally in CAD 3D(UG/Solid works/Pro-e/Autodesk, considering the cable installation and assembly aspects and constraints**
- Perform cable routing considering Safety and Serviceability requirements
- Consider support structure, space constraints within mechanical structure during cable routing
- Ensure Optimal path for the cable installation
- Interact and collaborate with various stakeholders (electrical/mechanical design teams, cross-functional teams etc.,) to understand project need
- Perform self-check and peer-check and ensure cables are routed / terminated according to the design
- Use 3D cable routing information and develop installation drawings as needed
- Ensure length of cable according to the cable routing done in NX/3D is enough for installation, and not too long or not too short
- Support and provide 3D cable routing data to prepare work instructions.
- **Knowledge on CAD tools-UG-Nx. **Solid works and Autodesk are preferred.
