**Job Title: Fabric Merchant**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure the fabric order.

2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of fabrics, including their characteristics, uses, and care instructions.

3. Provide excellent customer service, advising customers on fabric selection, pricing, and availability.

4. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and customers.

5. Maintain Update for inventory levels with adequate stock.

6. Collaborate with the production teams to ensure fabric selections meet customer requirements.

**Performance Metrics**:
1. Sales revenue growth

2. Customer satisfaction ratings

3. Inventory turnover and management

**Skills and Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Fashion, or a related field

2. Proven experience (3+ years) in the têxtile industry, preferably in a fabric merchandising role

3. In-depth knowledge of fabrics, including their characteristics, uses, and care instructions

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

7. Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office
