Job Description: Mechanical AutoCAD Draughtsman - Pharma Machinery

Location: Palghar, Palghar

**Job Type**: Full-Time

Industry: Pharmaceutical Machinery / Mechanical Design

Experience: 2-5 years (preferred)

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed 2D mechanical drawings for pharma machinery components and assemblies using AutoCAD.

Understand and interpret engineering concepts, sketches, and verbal instructions to develop precise mechanical layouts.

Create GA (General Arrangement), fabrication, and part drawings based on design specifications.

Modify and revise existing drawings based on engineering feedback and production requirements.

Ensure drawings comply with GMP, industry standards, and client requirements.

Maintain drawing records and documentation systematically.

Coordinate with the design, production, and quality teams to ensure accurate execution of projects.

Perform basic engineering calculations and bill of materials (BOM) generation.

**Requirements**:
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting, preferably in the pharma machinery or process equipment sector.

Proficient in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of SolidWorks or other 3D CAD tools is a plus.

Strong knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, and machined parts.

Understanding of GMP/cleanroom design guidelines and pharma industry standards.

Ability to interpret and prepare technical drawings with precision and accuracy.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with ASME/ISO standards for mechanical drawings.

Exposure to equipment like reactors, mixers, blenders, isolators, or filling machines.

Experience with documentation for validation (IQ/OQ) is an added advantage.
