**Key Responsibilities**:

- **User Support**: Provide technical support to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct testing and debugging to maintain high-quality code standards.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Technical Proficiency**: Strong experience with RPG IV, RPGLE, and CL programming languages on the AS/400 platform.
- **Database Management**: Knowledge of DB2/400 and SQL for database operations.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- **Communication**: Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- **Experience**: Typically, a minimum of 5 years in AS/400 system design and programming.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- **Additional Skills**: Familiarity with COBOL, Java, or other programming languages; experience with EDI systems; knowledge of modern development methodologies.
