**Job Title**: Accountant Assistant
**Location**: Surendranagar
**Overview**:
The Accountant Assistant provides essential support to the accounting department by assisting with generating bills/e-way bills, financial record-keeping, data entry, and general administrative tasks. This role is critical for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing accounts, and supporting the overall accounting function within the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Financial Record Keeping**:
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
- Process and record transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, expense reports, and bank reconciliations.
- **Data Entry and Management**:
- Enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Verify and reconcile invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:
- Prepare and assist with the preparation of financial reports, statements, and summaries.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records and reports.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:
- Process and monitor invoices and payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Assist in tracking and managing accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
- **Administrative Support**:
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and handling phone inquiries.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as needed.
- **Compliance and Accuracy**:
- Ensure all accounting practices comply with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
- Perform regular checks to ensure accuracy in financial entries and reports.
- **Communication**:
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial transactions, discrepancies, and other accounting-related matters.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree is a plus, any kind of certificate course.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- **Skills**:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
**How to Apply**:
Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
