**Job Role - EHS (safety Officer)**

**DEPARTMENT - **Health & Safety

**EDUCATION - **Diploma in health & safety/Certification in Health & Safety

**REPORT TO **Project Manager

**Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
**1. Safety Policies**:
∙ Development & implementation of safety policies that will help to reduce accident-related costs & prevent losses due to a decline in productivity.

∙ Implementation of safety policy by giving awareness to the workers & managers & get work done from them with safe working condition.

∙ Keep the record along with sign about code of conduct related for safety.

**2. Workplace Inspection**:
∙ Inspection of interior & exterior of work areas to determine if there are any safety hazards.

∙ To observe workers & ensure that they are wearing required personal protective equipment & following company officers check & stability of scaffolding.

∙ Ensure that workers are using helmets & protective footwear, & check to make sure employees operate construction equipment in a safe manner.

**3. Incident investigation**:
∙ To make preventive action plan to reduce the incidence like major accident/ minor accident/ near miss cases/ first aid cases.

∙ Investigation of the incidence and prepare a detailed report along with taking witness that why the incidence happened, find out root-cause analysis implement correction & prepare, implement & monitor corrective action to prevent the future incidence.

**4. Training & Coaching**:
∙ To give the training on safety topics to the site workers.

∙ Topics are required to include, fire prevention plans, hazardous material handling and machine guarding. Safety officers identify training needs, develop appropriate training programs and deliver training to employees.

**5. Regulatory Compliance**:
∙ Compliance as per OSHA requirement & state occupational safety agencies.

∙ Reviewing standards, implementing plans to meet those standards and following all record keeping requirements.

**6. Documentation**:
∙ To prepare the document of all reports & activities carried during work. ∙ To prepare the incident report.

∙ Daily observation/ inspection report.

**Technical Skills**:
∙ Diploma in Health & Safety.

∙ MS-Office

**Functional Competency**:

- Proactive approach
- Reporting skills
- Training skills
- Good communication skills.
- Good observation skill
- Ready to travel as & when required.

**EXPERIENCE 3-4 Yrs**.

**LOCATION - Ready to travel as & when required as per Project Site PAN India**

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
