**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**:

- Teach sociology at the secondary level, following the ICSE syllabus and curriculum guidelines.
- Plan and deliver engaging, clear, and structured lessons that cover key topics in sociology, such as social institutions, culture, social change, and social problems.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, group work, case studies, and multimedia resources, to foster student interest and understanding.
- **Assessment & Feedback**:

- Design, administer, and grade assessments, including quizzes, tests, projects, and assignments, in alignment with ICSE standards.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic performance and offer guidance for improvement.
- Regularly monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and participate actively.
- Manage student behavior in accordance with the school's policies and foster a collaborative atmosphere for learning.
- **Student Engagement & Support**:

- Encourage critical thinking and discussion on contemporary social issues and global sociological topics.
- Provide individualized support for students who may be struggling academically or socially, and collaborate with other teachers or support staff when necessary.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about students' academic progress and any social or behavioral concerns.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school meetings, and any other activities that promote student and school development.
- **Professional Development**:

- Participate in school-based professional development sessions, workshops, and conferences to remain up-to-date with best practices in teaching and sociology.
- Continuously enhance teaching methods and stay informed about the latest trends and research in sociology and education.
- **Extracurricular Activities**:

- Support or organize extracurricular activities that enhance students' understanding of sociology, such as debates, social studies clubs, or field trips.
- Promote student involvement in sociological research projects or community service activities that relate to the course content.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
