We are looking for show hosts who leads a discussion-based television program. Their daily responsibilities can vary depending on the type of show, network size and area of focus. Common duties can include:

- Presenting information to audience
- Providing entertainment and information for audience
- Interviewing guests and leading discussions
- Reading from a script or teleprompter
- Collaborating with a production and writing team to generate story ideas
- Planning episodes by writing questions and choosing guests
- Overseeing a show's production and operation

**Skills Required:

- **
**Confidence**: Hosts often perform in front of live audiences. They must be confident presenting on camera and in person.
**Communication**: Communication is an important part of being a show. Personalities conduct live interviews, provide entertainment and discuss current events. They must be able to communicate clearly about a variety of topics.
**Public speaking**:In addition to basic communication skills, TV personalities should also be excellent public speakers. They need to speak in a charismatic and entertaining way.
**Reading comprehension**: Some talk show hosts read off of a teleprompter or script. They can use reading skills to help them read aloud at the right pace.
**Active listening**: Active listening is the ability to focus on a speaker and respond accordingly. During interviews, talk show hosts can use active listening skills to converse with guests.
**Flexibility**: Talk show hosts typically plan interview questions and conversations in advance, but they need flexibility to improvise during the show. A guest may bring up a new point or change the topic of conversation. Flexibility can help talk show hosts adapt and think quickly as the conversations change.
**Research and writing skills**: Many show hosts plan and write their own shows. They may need to research certain topics or guests before the episode. Strong research skills can help them quickly find accurate information.
**Technical skills**: A background in media and communications can help show hosts advance their career and perform their duties. This may include learning about visual and audio equipment, broadcasting tools and editing equipment.
