Role Summary:
The Vice Chancellor serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the university and is responsible for overall leadership, management, and direction of the institution. The role requires a dynamic individual with a strong academic and administrative background to lead a team of university directors, professors, and administrative staff. The Chancellor/Vice Chancellor is the public face of the university, acting as the principal liaison with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**:Strategic Leadership**:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to achieve the university’s mission and objectives.
- Formulate and implement long-term policies, strategies, and goals aligned with academic excellence and innovation.
**Academic Leadership**:
- Oversee academic programs, research activities, and initiatives to maintain high academic standards.
- Foster a culture of academic innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and global competitiveness.
- Ensure quality assurance and accreditation standards across all programs.
**Administrative Management**:
- Lead and manage the team of university directors, professors, and administrative heads to ensure smooth functioning of departments.
- Develop and monitor budgets, resource allocation, and infrastructure development.
- Enforce adherence to university policies and regulations.
**Government & External Liaison**:
- Act as the primary liaison with ministries, government bodies, regulatory authorities (e.g., UGC, AICTE), and other stakeholders.
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, industries, and international organizations to enhance the university’s profile.
**Stakeholder Engagement**:
- Engage with alumni, donors, and the community to build relationships and secure support for the university.
- Represent the university at conferences, seminars, and public events to promote its reputation.
**Governance & Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements as per government and university guidelines.
- Maintain effective governance structures to uphold transparency, accountability, and ethical standards.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- **Education**: Ph.D. or equivalent degree from a recognized institution; proven academic excellence.
- **Experience**: Minimum 15-25 years in senior academic/administrative leadership roles in a reputable institution.
- **Skills**:

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: ₹2,400,000.00 - ₹3,600,000.00 per year
