**Job Description: Incubator Technician**

**Position**: Incubator Technician
**Department**: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) / Paediatrics
**Location**: Siwan
**Reporting to**: NICU Supervisor/Healthcare Manager

**Salary: - 14k to 18k**

**Job Overview**:
The Incubator Technician is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and ensuring the proper functioning of incubators and related neonatal equipment in a healthcare setting. This role is critical to providing safe, controlled environments for newborns, particularly premature or ill infants, to support their growth and health recovery.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Educational Qualification**:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Certification or training in biomedical equipment technology, neonatal care, or a related field (preferred).

**Experience**:
1-3 years of experience working with neonatal equipment or in a healthcare-related technical role (preferred).

Experience in incubator or other critical care equipment operation is a plus.

**Key Skills**:
Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Knowledge of neonatal care equipment, especially incubators.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a clinical environment.

**Work Conditions**:
The role may require standing for long periods and assisting with the setup or adjustments of incubators.

Incubator Technicians work closely with NICU staff and may be exposed to various medical conditions in a sensitive, high-stress environment.

Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required based on the healthcare facility's needs.

**Preferred Attributes**:
Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of other neonatal care equipment, such as ventilators or phototherapy units.

Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Knowledge of hospital safety and infection control standards.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
