Job Title: Transcriptionist - English \ Bengali \ Hindi

Key Responsibilities:

- Transcribe audio recordings verbatim in English \ Bengali \ Hindi languages, ensuring accuracy and adherence to transcription guidelines.
- Segment transcriptions into logical units based on natural pauses, speaker changes, and non-speech elements.
- Label speaker turns with appropriate identifiers.
- Utilize special markup symbols and conventions specified in guidelines for various speech elements, disfluencies, and non-speech noises.
- Maintain precise timestamps for speaker turns and segment breaks within specified tolerance limits.
- Spell out all words, including hesitations, filler words, and mispronunciations, following standard orthography and grammar rules.
- Accurately transcribe dialectal pronunciations, non-standard usage, contractions, and spoken letters as per guidelines.
- Handle acronyms, initialisms, and abbreviations according to prescribed formats and rules.
- Ensure proper punctuation and formatting of transcriptions, including hyphens, apostrophes, and special symbols.
- Review and verify transcriptions to meet quality and accuracy standards before submission.

**Requirements**:

- Native or near-native proficiency in English \ Bengali \ Hindi depending on the specific language expertise.
- Strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuances in the target language(s).
- Excellent listening skills and ability to comprehend diverse accents, speech patterns, and terminology.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow transcription guidelines accurately.
- Proficiency in using transcription software and tools for efficient workflow management.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with other team members.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving transcription requirements and guidelines.
- Certification or training in transcription or language-related field is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
