**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lab Preparation and Management**:

- Assist in the setup and preparation of laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
- Ensure that all necessary materials, equipment, and supplies are available and in good condition.
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and workspaces, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- **Student Support**:

- Provide assistance to students during laboratory activities, including guidance on proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Support science teachers in managing lab sessions and addressing any technical or procedural issues that arise.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Monitor and enforce safety procedures and protocols in the laboratory to ensure a safe working environment for students and staff.
- Maintain and manage chemical inventory, including proper storage, labeling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and institutional policies.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate records of lab inventory, equipment maintenance, and safety inspections.
- Assist in ordering and restocking laboratory supplies and materials as needed.
- Support the development and implementation of laboratory procedures and protocols.
- **Professional Development and Collaboration**:

- Participate in relevant professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in laboratory management and science education.
- Collaborate with science teachers and other staff members to improve lab procedures and enhance the educational experience.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related science) or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and equipment maintenance.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with students and staff.
- Proficiency in using standard laboratory equipment and tools.
