Ink Matcher

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Color Matching & Preparation**:

- Mix inks to achieve exact color shades as per Pantone, shade card, or customer sample.
- Conduct shade matching under standard light conditions
- Adjust viscosity, strength, and density of ink to suit printing machine requirements.
- **Ink Management**:

- Maintain proper stock of base inks, additives, and solvents.
- Label, record, and store prepared inks systematically for traceability.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of inks/chemicals as per safety norms.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Test ink shades before supplying to machine for trial/production.
- Maintain consistency in ink quality throughout the production run.
- Work with QC team to resolve shade variation issues during printing.
- **Coordination**:

- Coordinate with production supervisors, operators, and designers for color accuracy.
- Provide shade samples for customer approval when required.
- Report ink-related issues to Production/Quality Head.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain ink formulation records for repeat orders.
- Update Ink Kitchen database with formulation, usage, and wastage reports.

**Key Skills & Competencies**
- Strong knowledge of **Pantone Matching System (PMS)** and color theory.
- Practical experience in ink mixing for **offset, flexo, gravure, or screen printing**.
- Ability to use **spectrophotometer / densitometer** for accurate shade matching.
- Attention to detail with excellent color vision (no color blindness).
- Basic knowledge of ink chemistry (solvent-based, water-based, UV inks).
- Good coordination and communication skills with production staff.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
