**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Interpret medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds to provide accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and recommend further diagnostic or treatment options.
- Perform interventional procedures as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance the field of radiology and improve patient care practices.
- Provide education to patients regarding procedures and imaging processes to alleviate concerns and enhance understanding.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and techniques to ensure the highest quality of care.

**Requirements**:

- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Radiology.
- Proficiency in EHR systems, particularly Epic, along with experience in EMR systems.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to various specialties such as cardiology, oncology, neurology, and pediatrics.
- Experience with diagnostic imaging modalities including mammography, nuclear medicine, and vascular interventional radiography is preferred.
- Familiarity with clinical practices related to critical care, emergency medicine, outpatient services, and surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and patient interaction.
- Ability to perform basic life support and maintain current certifications relevant to the position.
